IMW Setup

IM Warehouse has to be installed in your Android handheld device, but firstly some Setup has to be defined in Microsoft Business Central.

Enter the IMW Setup option of IM Warehouse main menu in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central

  1. Packing Nos.: Define internal No. for Packing List documents
  2. Define the action when finishing the operations
  3. Max. Qty. Purch Order: To define upper limits for quantity excess allowed to post a Purchase Receipt
  4. Set search priorities when reading a barcode
  5. Set internal No. for different warehouse operations
  6. Purch. Lot. No. Automatic: The system creates a batch No. when the Purchase Receipt is posted.
  7. Adjust Assembly Components:
  8. Partial inventory to be posted automatically
  9. Allow Modify UM on Reception
  10. Create Orders from Gen. Purch: Creates Purchase Order Directed using Req. Worksheet functionality

Assign users to IM Warehouse

Define menu options for each IMW User from the “Permission” option

IMW assign Task

From the IMW Assigned Users menu option

Define for each warehouse and document type the user that will get the task by default
